Peace of Mind with our Two-Year Limited Warranty

At Paramount Painting, our goal is to always provide our clients with a high quality, professional finish. Our limited two-year warranty can help provide you with some peace of mind.

Subject to the limitations set forth below, for a period of two years from the date of completion of the work described in your contract, Paramount Painting will repair any peeling, blistering, or chipping paint resulting from defects.

Warranty Limitations

This two-year warranty does not cover or include:

Any work where Paramount Painting did not supply the paint or other materials.
Any work which was not performed entirely by Paramount Painting.
Varnished surfaces.
Surfaces made of, or containing, galvanized metal.
The cost of materials required to perform the repairs.
Repairs to horizontal surfaces or any surface that, by virtue of its design permits moisture to collect. Such surfaces include, but are not limited to, decks, railings, stairs, porches, roofs, and gutters.
Exact paint match, as environmental conditions will affect the color and finish of all paints over time.
Any issues that are caused, in whole or in part, by manufacturing defects in the paint, stain, or other products and materials used, regardless of whether the products or materials were supplied by Paramount Painting.
Bleeding caused by knots, rust, or cedar.
Cracks in drywall, plaster, concrete or wood.
Peeling, blistering, or chipping caused by:
- mill-glazing from smooth cedar
- ordinary wear and tear.
- abnormal use or misuse
- peeling of layers of paint existing prior to the work performed by Paramount Painting.
- design, structural, or other latent defects.
- settling or movement.
- moisture content of the substrate.
- paint, stain or material applied to deteriorating materials exposed to the elements (including, but not limited to: logs, glued laminate timber, siding or trim).
- nail pops or other imperfections in siding or trim.
- abrasion, mechanical damage, abrasive cleaning, abuse, or damage resulting from the use of chemicals or cleaning agents or exposure to harmful solids, liquids, or gases.
- damage or defects caused in whole or in part by reason of fire, explosion, flood, acts of God, extreme weather conditions, misuse, alterations, abuse, vandalism, negligence, or any other similar causes beyond the control of Paramount Painting.

This Warranty is the only express warranty made by the Paramount Painting and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. This warranty covers only those services provided by the Paramount Painting to the original customer named on the contract (quote) and is not transferable. In no event shall the Paramount Painting be liable for incidental or consequential damages or damages in excess of the original contract price. This warranty may not be altered or extended for any purpose unless done so in writing in a document executed by all parties to this contract.

Disclaimer

*Paramount Painting is not liable for damages that may result from moisture entering a structure while pressure washing an exterior.

*We always do our best to protect your landscaping (ie: shrubs, decorative plants etc) but due to the nature of the job we are not responsible for any damages that may occur.

*Shrubs, trees, greenery need to be trimmed back away from the house prior to beginning work, to allow for a minimum of 2' from the house. If this is not done, Paramount Painting reserves the right to trim back plants as necessary and you may incur additional fees.

*Furniture, shelving and other items need to all be moved prior to beginning work. This will be discussed for each job and if we agree to move anything, Paramount Painting will not be held liable for any damages that may occur.

*Scheduling for work can be a challenge in the Rocky Mountains and is something that we have no control over. Communication is important to us at Paramount Painting and we will remain in contact as to when a job will start and/ or if there are any unexpected weather delays prior to beginning or during a job. Due to the nature of the weather conditions here (including snow storms in June), we do not set exact dates for when our jobs will begin. While we do our absolute best to work with your schedule, please allow some flexibility for occurrences that are out of our control.

*Any changes to the scope of the job after the initial quote can affect the price.

*Deposit payments will not be accepted more than 72 hours prior to beginning work and are due no later that the day that work is to begin. Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the job.

*Access to open doors may be necessary to complete a job, please ensure that if this is required you have a plan whether it is leaving a key, key code, doors unlocked etc, this may also include you making sure that animals are secured. Paramount Painting will always ensure that doors are locked and secured afterwards. If we are unable to access certain aspects of the job, that may cause delays.
